Melissa Ford currently serves as the Assistant Director for the Office of Student Advocacy and Support, where she supports students in navigating challenges, connecting with essential services, and achieving both academic and personal success using a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach. Melissa is a dedicated licensed social worker with experience in social services and student support. She is passionate about advocating for students and ensuring they have access to the resources they need to thrive. Throughout her career, she has worked extensively in crisis intervention, case management, and community outreach, specializing in student advocacy, mental health support, and inclusive support programs.
