Introduction
Michelle Dvorak is a policy analyst focusing on methods to reduce toxics in the marine environment in support of Puget Sound recovery plans with PSI. She combines scientific, policy and economic expertise in the study of environmental change. Michelle received her B.S. in Chemistry from Seattle University and her M.M.A. from the University of Washington School of Marine and Environmental Affairs, along with a Graduate Certificate in Climate Science. Michelle has worked as a research scientist with the University of Washington School of Oceanography, where she developed emissions-based projections of climate change through numerical modeling and computational analysis. Areas of research interest include climate impacts modeling, marine water quality and oil spill prevention, and economic analysis to support environmental policy.
