Hello, everyone!
I'm Caitlin Chavez-Moats, the IT Project Manager for the UW Tacoma campus. I am an alumna of UW Bothell, earning my degree in 2016 in Biological Sciences. I worked at UW Bothell IT starting in 2013 as a student employee, and eventually ended up sticking around in IT, earning my Masters of Science in IT Management from WGU in 2019. I am passionate about equity and inclusion, data science, and process improvement and work to bring these passions into my professional life.
I am a certified Washington State University Master Gardener, I work on an alpaca farm for fun when I can, and host trivia. I am a crafter, I knit, crochet, spin, weave, cross stitch... If it involves fiber I probably do it. I live in Tacoma with my husband, Bryan, and our two cats, Fergie and Thackary Binx.
