Introduction

As UWT's Instructional Design Librarian, I focus on supporting student learning with effective, engaging, and inclusive lessons and activities. This could include providing recommendations for teaching tools and technologies, consulting on pedagogy or assignment design, assisting with creating online learning objects, incorporating active learning, and more. I also provide research consultations and support for students, faculty, and staff in my liaison areas (linked below).

A favorite part of my work is supporting the use of Open Educational Resources (OER) on campus. I was selected as a fellow for SPARC's Open Educational Leadership Program for the 2019-2020 academic year, and am happy to help anyone use or learn about these free, customizable course materials.

In addition to being a UWT alumn, my past work includes stints as a barista, bookseller, journalist, and fact checker.
