KyungJae Lee is a research scientist focused on the occurrence and impacts of anthropogenic chemicals, including Contaminants of Emerging Concern (CECs), in the Puget Sound. She conducts non-targeted LC-MS analysis, from sample collection to identification, using open-access data tools such as GNPS, SIRIUS, and Agilent MassHunter. She earned her B.S. in Oceanography with an emphasis in Chemical Oceanography and Climate Change from the University of Washington.
