Introduction

Dr. Emma Rose is a technical communication scholar whose research and teaching is motivated by a commitment to social justice and designing for inclusion. She uses participatory design and research techniques to help conceptualize solutions for community-based problems. She teaches user experience, UX research, user-centered design, and technical writing. Previously, she spent a decade working in User Experience.
