Ben White, PhD, RN is an Assistant Professor at the University of Washington in Tacoma and a substitute school nurse. Ben is a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Future of Nursing Scholar. He received his PhD in Nursing from the University of Washington for his dissertation centering on environmental and individual factors supporting nurse resilience in pediatric nurses. His scholarship continues to focus on building a stronger and more resilient school nursing workforce through attention to individual and environment factors, including continuing education, staffing, and interprofessional collaboration.
