BethAnn joined the UW Tacoma community in 2020 and spent five years in the School of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences prior to serving as the Director of Academic Advising with Academic Success Programs. Her background in higher education includes academic advising at Highline College, leadership in pre-major academic advising and career services at the University of Alaska Anchorage and student employment at West Texas A&M University. She has enjoyed teaching first year experience and career preparation classes at three different institutions. Previous research includes the impact of student employment on academic success and American Indian political participation. She is a dedicated Husky fan and always excited to collaborate on ways to improve service to our students.
