Amy Newcomb is an international educator with management and leadership experience in community-based scholarship and civic engagement programs. Amy holds a Master of Arts in Anthropology of Development from the University of London and recently taught in the UW Tacoma Global Honors program. Her publications and research interests fall at the intersection of faculty support, service-learning, and youth employment. Amy’s previous work experiences include the US Diplomatic Corps, the American University in Cairo and Tufts University, and the Lazord Foundation, a fellowship program for college graduates in Egypt, Jordan, and Tunisia.
