Lindsey advises Bachelor of Arts Healthcare Leadership (HCL) and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) students. Lindsey started working in education in 2004. Her career began as an Emergency Substitute Teacher for Fife School District. After pursuing a Teaching Certification Program she switched gears to take on a role at a vocational college, Cambridge College, as a student services advisor and Director of Student Services. Her career in higher education began in 2007 when she accepted a position with the University of Washington Bothell. Whilst working at UW Bothell, she was an advisor/recruiter for the campus, advisor for pre-major/undeclared students, and for 8 years was the advisor, and lead advisor, for the School of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences. Lindsey was raised in Tacoma and was happy to return home. She has been an academic advisor for the UW Tacoma Nursing and Healthcare Leadership program since 2015.
