Introduction

As a reference and instruction librarian, I see it as my imperative to promote information equity, collaborate to enhance information accessibility, and to support information literacy through teaching, reference consultations, and mentorship for diverse communities with a wide range of educational goals and learning styles.

How I can help you

For students

  • Recommend the best databases, digital collections, and library library sources to search for your research topic
  • Answer your questions via email, phone or in-person
  • Meet with you individually to hash out your topic or discuss research strategies
  • Tell you about library services

For faculty

  • Introduce your students to research tools and strategies via a workshop
  • Create a webpage tailored to your class assignment (TWRT 211 example )
  • Discuss ways to best incorporate research skills and library materials into your class assignments
  • Meet with your students individually
  • Tell you about library collections and services
Scholarly Interests

I am particularly interested in information literacy, information accessibility, and universal design of instruction.
