Sarah Hampson

My research focuses on public policy in the U.S. from a sociolegal perspective. I also study gender, race and ethnicity in U.S. electoral politics.
I am currently working on two projects related to the implementation of Title IX on college and university campuses. The first is a collaboration with Jamie Huff (Bridgewater State University) looking at the legal mobilization and implementation of Title IX from a sociolegal perspective. The second is an interdisciplinary collaboration with Erin Casey (Social Work, UWT) and Alissa Ackerman (Criminal Justice, California State, Fullerton), looking at response and prevention of sexual assault and interpersonal violence on commuter campuses.
I also continue to work on intersectional research on U.S. elections with Evelyn Simien (University of Connecticut).
